{week in the life: day two...
Hello Tuesday!
I was up getting ready for work when a teary eyed little guy {Chase} came walking in the bathroom. He began to explain to me that he knew the tooth fairy wasn't real because he lost his tooth last night before baseball practice and decided he wasn't going to tell anyone. He just hid it and knew that if the tooth fairy was real, she would come and leave $. After explaining that even the tooth fairy had to be let in the house by mommy or daddy and that if she didn't know to look for a tooth; she wouldn't come. So he told me where he had hid it and we decided it would be a good idea to put it where she could see it for tonight.
He's a sneaky guy, that one & is going to give me a run for my money I do believe.
Cheerios again for the boys...
Coe being a dork...
The boys wanted to take pics of me...
{coe's}
{chase's}
Run outside to do chores & catch the bus...
And here's a little video for you to enjoy... Good Morning from Ella!
{disclaimer: Yes I was driving down our gravel road. Yes I was looking at the road. I was simply holding the camera backwards.}
I'll update more tonight! Have a wonderful day!
----------------------------
Got Ella picked up from daycare and headed home to get a few things done before Coe's baseball practice. Ella have the last little bit of my drink...
Last weekend Aaron made this box looking thing for the baby chicks to be in outside. This gets them used to being out in the grass and out from under the heat lamp. Apparently it is called a "chicken tractor" because one end has wheels so you can move it around your yard or pasture. It's a bit redneck if you ask me, but it works. LOL
Haus is a very good guard. Lord help the first chicken that gets out by accident...
The boys get off the bus and they're off to collect eggs...
5:00 baseball practice for Coe...
Back home to this dirty but happy little girl...
Time to put the chickens away for the night...
The one design flaw when Aaron made this was the getting the chickens out part. It's a good thing Chase is small. LOL! We call him Chase the Chicken Wrangler...
The boys play some more baseball in the yard...
They make up a game of "pitching" at a board and a couple of beer cans...whatever keeps them busy...
Ella was in charge of picking them up between throws...
I decide to take some pictures of around our yard...
The kids water the chickens and the cows before we head in for supper...
I brought this cool piece home from work today. We are using it to sort shoes...perfect!
Farm fresh eggs & potatoes for supper tonight...
Bathtime...
And done. Phew! Long day! Off to let the tooth fairy in!
