Success! Place cards are complete & the paint stayed in the bottle!
{snort}
I did change this up a bit from my original plan, but here's a quick tutorial on how I made my simple place cards...
Supplies used: Snowflake punch {EK Success}, Jenni Bowlin malted milk paint dabber {Ranger Ink} & everything else from the Dec Studio Calico kit.
Cut kraft to 5x5 and score at 2.5 to create the base of the place card.
Cut the {blue} cardstock & the pattern paper to 2.25 x 4.75
Punch the {blue} cardstock on the top & bottom...
Adhere the {blue} cardstock onto the pattern paper lining up all of the edges...
Layer onto the kraft cardstock that you scored. Add some paint speckles by gently {TAPPING} the edges with the JB dabber. I used the malted milk, but they have 12 awesome shades to choose from...
Using a second pattern paper, punch a full snowflake....
Add the snowflake to your card with a foam square. I also added a piece of the mixtape by American Crafts from the SC kit...
Add the names and a little bling and complete! Something simple & homemade for your holiday table...
