{Winter Wonderland coffee insulator...
Loved what May Flaum did with the coffee insulator over at Shabby Chic Crafts, so I had to play with one of my own. I used it to hold a recipe for homemade hot chocolate, but it makes a great gift card holder too!
The papers and rub-ons by Got Moxxie were perfect for the winter feel I wanted!

{My favorite moment of the week...
We are hosting our second challenge for this month over at
The Story Matters which is:
What was your favorite moment THIS WEEK?
Here is my {digi} submission about my uncle's benefit we held this last weekend.
Journaling:
When Uncle Lyle was diagnosed with prostate cancer, it didn’t take us “ackers” long to decide that we were all going to step-up and organize a benefit for him. After only a few weeks of planning, we all pulled together and raised an awesome amount of money to help him out. We are all so blessed and thankful for the wonderful community we live in!
This is the true meaning of Christmas!
This was my "fav moment this week" because of the impact we were able to make for someone else.

{a little bit of Xyron, Moxxie, and a great new challenge from TheStoryMatters...
A layout combining all three!
Cookie Traditions...
{Journaling reads: One of my favorite Christmas traditions is cooking making. All of the kids have so much fun mixing, baking & decorating. Chase had so much fun this year; as he was old enough to decorate & taste.}
I loved playing with my new Xyron Creatopia! It is so versatile and I can't wait to get to play with it some more! It makes cutting strips and embossing paper a cinch!
~Creatopia is now available at scrapbook.com!~
Here is a close up of the scallop edge I embossed using this fun new tool...
It made cutting the wavey edged strip so easy...
And the papers and rub-ons...yep... Moxxie's new Joy of Baking...
