Using up a bit more of my Feb. Studio Calico kit. This time featuring Coe Waylon. He is growing up so darn fast. He loves to hunt, shoot his gun & his bow. Anything that puts him next to his daddy, he's right there.
He's a darn good little shot and takes it very seriously. He's a bit like his mama in the "do something 110% or don't do it at all" mind set. Sometimes that's okay, sometimes not.
Today, I {made} myself sit down and get my tax papers in order to take to our accountant. It's something that I put off until the hubby finally says, "go...I'll watch the kids, just do it". So, tax papers were completed and I decided I needed a reward. Hee! So I got out my SC {Candy Shoppe} kit and created this quick layout. I based it on THIS fun sketch from {Get Your Sketch On - #7}. Check them out! They have fun weekly sketches with prizes!

We are looking for fresh faces and talented girls to fill our 2011 team. We are looking for
Motivated team members A clean well presented style of Artsy, Shabby, Simple, Modern, Whimsy and much more Well/clean photography skills You've got to love the product! This is super important! We have 9 new beautiful lines from this winter's CHA '10. Bring your personality to the team. We love drama free, fun, and outgoing gals. Ability to work fast, if needed (around show times we might need extra work done and working fast is a plus :) Assignments turned in on time. Scrapbooking is all about being creative, capturing memories, and having fun! When it comes to our design team, we feel that our members should do just that. "Be Creative, capture memories, and HAVE FUN"!

This year, we have 6 returning DT gals and have decided to open 9 spots to make a total of 15th team members. We will be looking for
Altered Item Gals Card Gals Layout Gals This is what you'll need to turn in:
A short paragraph about yourself, explaining who you are and "why you want to work with us" 3-4 projects of your best work Resume A link to your gallery and blog List of any teams you are on right now or responsibilities Your contact information Each month the GCD Gals will be asked to create 3 items from our 10 new collections (one of the projects will need to be a written tutorial).
Please keep in mind that we are reserving 2 spots for "new up & coming crafters". This means that these spots will be "reserved" for unpublished gals (which I will teach them the ropes of the publishing world). We find great joy in new talent! So, even if you feel that you're not ready to submit to a design team calls, here is your chance! We want to see your work!
This year our team will be working side by side with many other companies and fun new partnerships. We have a lot of fun things lined up for our 2011 team.

I started this at the crop I did at {the studio} a few weeks ago, but it just didn't seemed "finished". It has been drivin me crazy just sittin on my desk.
...nothing a little Studio Calico goodies won't fix...and so I came up with this...

This months kit {candy shoppe} from Studio Calico is so bright and fun. I told myself no add-ons this month...Ha! That didn't work as soon as I saw what Maggie & mle did with the Lollipop add-on. With a combination of Studio Calico, Sassafras, & Crate Paper...how could you go wrong?
So, I created this little diddy while {e} was taking her morning nap. Here's to sweet lazy days filled with creativity...
Another layout I made at the crop last weekend. I'm still not sure this one "works", but I figured I'd post it and see if I can figure out what's botherin me about it. Do you ever do that? Have a layout that just doesn't seem finished and it's drives ya crazy?

I had such a fun time croppin Friday night at my LSS with my mom & some scrappy friends. I didn't get much accomplished, but it was fun to just get together & laugh...& laugh...& laugh. Here's one of the layouts I got done using up some old SC stash...
