{Happy Girl...Bella Blvd Celebrating 4 years...

Photobucket

My favorite part of this layout has to be the Designer Tapes. The new Punch Chevron that coordinates with the Birthday Girl line is the perfect "pop" on any project. Use them to frame a photo, a pattern paper, or to simple anchor a focal piece like the "be so happy" piece from the Cute Cuts paper.

I enjoyed doing a two-pager so much! I very rarely do them; so this was a welcomed change. I stuck pretty closely to the sketch and then added a few of my own touches with clustering, etc. One thing that I always love to use is the front cover of the 6x6 paper packs and collection packs. The ones that show the little snippets of the papers. As you can see in the upper right hand corner of the right page I used the front cover of the 6x6 pack to create my banners. It's just a fun twist and a great way to use packaging too!

{Birthday Girl Mini Album...Bella Blvd Birthday Week

Photobucket

For my mini album I used standard card sized envelopes for my base. It's a great way to create an album at a low cost and you already have pockets if you choose to incorporate them into your book! I used a ton of the Birthday Girl embellishments and papers: the perfect collection for the cake smash photos I took of my cousin's little cutie. I used the Designer tapes on the edges and made sure to let my embellishment pieces hang off the sides. Love when a mini book looks full to the brim!

I am honored to be guest designing at Once Upon a Sketch today! This months sketch was a great jump start for my creative juices. I dug into some of my favorite supplies: Acorn Ave - Crate Paper, Flair - A Flair for Buttons, & the calendar piece - Bella Blvd to create my layout. Head on over to the Once Upon a Sketch Blog today & give the sketch a try for yourself!

...jbs mercantile aug kit...

The August jbs Mercantile kit now available!

The Scavenger Hunt layout was created mainly with the Mini Album kit as well as the Basic Grey paper and Thickers from the Artisan add-on kit. I used the alphabet BG sheet behind the "stick painting" subtitle that I cut with my Silhouette Cameo. This created a multi colored effect. To create the triangles, I punched the papers with 2 different sizes square punches and then simple cut them at a diagonal.

As you can see from my gallery this month, I loved the mini album kit very much. The colors were just perfect for bright Summery pages. My Summer Fun layout combines a bit of the Artisan with alot of my favorite Mini kit. The Basic Grey Notecards are the perfect embellishment. It's a small book stocked full of pieces that can be used as a whole or in bits like I did on this layout.

Good Morning Ella...Designer Tapes Bella Blvd Reveal Week

For this layout I used a combination of the Designer Tapes. I started by stacking the actual rolls next to each other until I came up with a combination of colors that I liked for my layout. I then applied them to my kraft card stock in that order. I tore them roughly at the ends cause I like that sort of "imperfect" look. I used the negative portion of the Punch Sienna Chipboard Alphabet sheet on top of the Designer Tapes to create a fun & unique base to my page.

Supplies:
Sophisticates: Chipboard Sienna Alpha - Punch & Pony, High Five Alphabets - Pink & Red, Blue
Sunshine & Happiness: Chipboard Icons, Just Write Journaling Stickers, Miniatures Stickers
Designer Tapes: Gulf Dot, Punch Chevron, Orange Stripe, Piggy Pink Stripe, Pink Stripe, Yellow Chevron, Pickle Juice Chevron
