I was asked to create a layout for the swedish magazine {scrapbooking m.m.} for their july/august issue. It was to feature japanese washi paper tape. To be honest I hadn't a clue what that was. So I did a little research & found some over at happytape.com. Loved their variety & super fast shipping.

...why, oh why do I struggle so with cards? They take me longer to create than a page. But, today I was in the mood for some card making...so... here is the mess I came up with.

I went for a walk in our crp ground yesterday evening. It was nice to just walk in the silence, just me and my camera. oh...wonderful nature.

A Photo Technique

For my technique this month ovet at gcd studios I want to share how to use the "white space" of a photo. I took this photo in my front flower bed leaving "empty" space on the right hand side so I had a place for the title, journaling, etc. I had the photo printed in a 9x12 size at mpix.com & it cost about $3.99.

With a few of the beautiful GCD papers & embellishments it made for a quick layout with a big impact.
