{the anxiety has began to set in...

...with now only 5 weeks left in my pregnancy I'm starting to have so many emotions about it all...worried about the house not being done, anxious to meet the little squirrel who has been keeping me up at night, tears, crabbiness....oh boy my poor hubby has been dealing with it all lately...
...so, what else to do but to scrapbook about it!

Had lots of fun last night at Scrapaganza's crop night....really tired today, but it was nice to have a night of fun chattin with Penny, my mom & my sis. Also got to see lots of other fun scrappy gals I've gotten to know too!

My first layout was for Studio Calico's Sunday Sketch. The original layout was from the amazingly talented Lisa Truesdell {aka gluestick girl}...she's one of my many "scrap crushes"...

And now for that quick & easy home decor project...

Using the Xyron Creatopia and the fabric cartridge, run a piece of your favorite fabric through.






...and now switching to the Cutz cartridge make your edge cuts...

{I left the film on the top from the adhesive and it cut through all the layers like butter!}

...remove the film & the backing sheet from the adhesive and adhere to your cardstock...


...add the stitching {I used the Xyron design runner}, photograph, buttons, & rubons...


...frame it and you're all set! So simple!

{Finally... my "one little word"...

I have been thinking for over a month about my "one little word" for 2010.
{Balance} is definately something I am going to have to learn to master this year.







Loved the "no photo" layout created by the awesome Sasha over at Shabby Chic Crafts during love week and just had to give it a shot! It was fun {and challenging} not to add a photo on there!
